What’s happening?

With the demolition of the former convent building, a new single-storey Administration Building with a forecourt will be constructed in closer proximity to Main Road Cardiff, and provide an essential link to the community and church.

The project also incorporates the refurbishment of the existing Administration Building, Learning Hub and General Learning Areas into contemporary learning environments.

Proposed works includes:

• Construction of a new Administration Building following the demolition of the former Convent Building, providing improved accessibility to the school community to the public forecourt and reception area.
• Refurbishment of the existing Administration Building to staff spaces, such as programming and resourcing facilities.
• Refurbishment of existing breakout space to create a modern Learning Hub at the heart of the school.
• Refurbishment of the existing Library to create three flexible General Learning Areas, each with inner connecting sliding doors.
• Significant landscape upgrades to the embankment consisting of tiered seating for outdoor learning opportunities and contemporary play.
